Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 1, 2026
Winslow's Catering Livermore (an asset of Fresh Pulp Holdings LLC, referred to below as "Winslow's Catering Livermore," "we," "our," or "us") handles your personal information the way we handle a wine country event timeline: deliberately, with nothing extra collected and nothing left lying around. This notice describes what we gather when you browse this site, ask for pricing on a Livermore Valley catering order, check out through the cart, trade messages with a coordinator, sign into the client portal, or ask our website assistant a question.
Using this site or sending us your details tells us these practices are acceptable to you. If something here concerns you, reach out before submitting an inquiry and we will walk you through your options.
1. Information You Give Us
Almost everything in our records is something you typed yourself. Depending on how far your booking has progressed, that may include:
- Your name, company, school, or organization, plus email address and phone number
- Event logistics: date, arrival window, guest count, service style, delivery address, venue or ranch contact, gate codes, dock access, and parking notes
- Menu selections, dietary restrictions, allergy details, and special requests
- Billing contact, purchase order or cost-center numbers, and resale or exemption certificates when they apply
- Emails, texts, portal messages, attachments, and coordinator notes exchanged with our office
- Reviews, referrals, testimonials, and survey answers you choose to share
We never ask for medical records. When you flag an allergy so our kitchen can cook around it, that note travels with your production paperwork and is seen only by the cooks, packers, and drivers assigned to your order.
2. Information Collected Automatically
Like nearly every catering site serving Livermore and the Tri-Valley, ours records ordinary technical signals each time a browser connects: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time on page, approximate region, and interactions such as which packages you opened or whether you began a quote. Cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar tools make that possible. They keep your cart intact between visits, remember display settings, show us which service pages actually help people, and support advertising measurement.
Your browser can block or clear most cookies. That choice is entirely yours, though the cart, portal sign-in, and saved-quote features may not behave normally afterward.
3. Payment Information
Card and bank details are entered into a hosted form operated by our payment processor and are tokenized before they ever reach our systems. We are not built to store full card numbers and do not try to. We retain only transaction confirmations, the last few digits, authorization results, and fraud-screening signals needed to reconcile your order. That data is governed by the processor's own security program and privacy terms.
4. How We Use It
- To quote, schedule, cook, pack, deliver, and staff your event
- To confirm details, send countdown reminders, and follow up afterward
- To collect deposits and balances and to issue refunds, credits, and tax documents
- To operate the client portal, saved quotes, and order history
- To answer questions arriving by form, phone, text, email, or our website assistant
- To screen duplicate or fraudulent orders and protect our crew and systems
- To understand which pages, packages, and price points serve hosts in Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon, Danville, Sunol, Tracy, and the surrounding Tri-Valley
- To send seasonal menus, holiday ordering deadlines, or promotions when you have asked for them
- To meet tax, accounting, insurance, food-safety, and other legal obligations
5. Who Else Sees It
We do not sell your contact information. We do share what is necessary with the partners who help us operate:
- Software vendors hosting this site, our database, email delivery, text messaging, calendars, and analytics
- Payment processors and fraud-prevention services
- Delivery drivers, event staff, rental partners, floral partners, and sub-caterers assigned to your date
- Accountants, insurers, and attorneys who advise the company
- Government agencies or courts responding to a valid legal request, subpoena, or safety concern
- A successor organization if the business or a portion of it is ever reorganized, sold, or transferred
Each vendor receives only the fields its role requires and is expected to protect that information and use it for our purposes rather than its own.
6. Marketing Messages
With your consent we may email or text menu announcements, holiday ordering cutoffs, or Livermore Valley event ideas. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and replying STOP ends text messages. Operational messages tied to a live order — confirmations, delivery windows, invoices, driver arrival notices — continue regardless, because they are part of the service you booked.
7. How Long We Keep It
Quote and order records, correspondence, and financial documentation remain with us for as long as they help us serve returning clients and as long as tax, accounting, insurance, and recordkeeping rules require. Marketing contact details are kept until you opt out or the record goes inactive. Technical logs cycle off much sooner. When a record no longer serves a purpose, we delete it or remove the identifying details.
8. Your Choices
Depending on where you live, you may ask us to:
- Confirm whether we hold information about you and provide a copy
- Correct anything inaccurate or out of date
- Delete information, except where law or financial rules require retention
- Limit or object to certain uses, including targeted advertising
- Withdraw marketing consent at any time
- Receive the same service and pricing after exercising any of these rights
Send requests to the contact in Section 13. We verify identity before acting, which may involve confirming details from a prior order, and we respond within the timeframes applicable law provides.
9. California Residents
California residents hold specific rights over personal information: the right to know which categories are collected, used, disclosed, sold, or shared; the right to request access, correction, and deletion; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of cross-context behavioral advertising; the right to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and the right to be free from retaliation for exercising any of them.
The categories we handle are identifiers, commercial information about your orders, limited financial account data held through our processor, internet and device activity, approximate location, and the content of your communications with us. We obtain them from you, from your browser, and from the vendors listed in Section 5, and we use them for the business purposes in Section 4.
We do not exchange personal information for money. Certain advertising and analytics cookies may still count as "sharing" under California's definitions. To opt out of that sharing, or to make any other California request, contact us through Section 13 or adjust your browser's cookie and Global Privacy Control settings.
10. Children
This site is intended for adults arranging catering for offices, labs, wineries, venues, and households. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes a child submitted details, contact us and we will remove the record promptly.
11. Security
We rely on encrypted connections, access controls, role-limited staff permissions, and vetted vendors to protect what you send us. No internet system is flawless, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we do commit to investigating issues quickly and notifying affected customers when the law requires it.
12. Third-Party Links and Embeds
Pages here may link to or embed review platforms, mapping tools, video players, social profiles, or payment pages run by other companies. Their data practices are their own and follow their policies, not this one. Review those notices before entering information on their properties.
